Moonlight Walk
I love to go for a moonlight walk,
My two companions and me.
Sometimes my son accompanies,
But, oh how he loves to talk.
The moon lets loose its glow,
Along the darken pathway.
Depicts a sea of gray,
As far as the eyes do show.
In this time of seclusion,
One finds appreciation.
Self recognition,
That depletes depredation.
A walk in suspended time,
When all is asleep.
One chases rabbits he doesn't find,
and by my side one does keep.
Sometimes my son accompanies,
Oh how he loves to talk.
But, those times are miss when he doesn't walk,
In total bliss in God's country.
